The Imigrant Narrative

You say that, going back three generations now, your family has been made up of immigrants. I'm wondering if you can describe for me how the frame of imigration might be a defence against some of the ethical dilemmas we've talked about to day. You you had wonderful insight in the book about one way to overcome some of the ethical challenges of upward mobility. And this insight comes from your own family.
