The Importance of Moving German Manpower to East Prussia
In June 1939, the Reich Defense Council would outline plans for the complete mobilization of the German economy. Plans were also drawn up to begin to use inmates in prison or concentration camps as forced laborers. The biggest problem was how to move troops and supplies into East Prussia. Germany did not have a great understanding of how Poles planned to defend their borders.
