Researchers got two groups of people who were about to take a subway train and Give them an assignment randomly. They were assigned to do what they usually do Which is to keep to themselves look at their phones listen to music read the paper. Other people were assigned to talk to a stranger while they were on the train. The people who had to talk to strangers? We're way happier at the end and enjoyed it much more than the people who kept it himself.
