The Problem With Metaphors in the Bible

All of Jesus' metaphors, all of them have truth behind it. He spoke in peribles because it would help make things more digestible and more palatable. It just meant that he was condensing information where it's less necessary to be completely literal. Even if you say that the whole narrative is a metaphor, those specific pieces in the metaphor just flat out seem to not correspond to reality. We have never seen a sin over a sunrise from my dad.
