How to Be More Open to Joy

A lot of people either have this definition of joy where it has to be a peak experience of euphoria that is life defining. Or a lot of times people when they start to feel the initial wave of joy, they actually try to dampen it. Joy very specifically encourages us to engage more with life. It gives us energy. It increases our motivation towards our goals and makes us want to connect with others.
