The Politics of Beer

The Coors Brewing Company gets started in Golden, Colorado in the 19th century. They make it through prohibition by making ceramics and they come out with a vastly more wide open beer market than pre-prohibition. For many decades, Coors was one of the main funders, and really, some of the family members, on what I think you could call sort of the respectable, radical right of this country. And today, we're going to talk a little bit about that history.
