The Productivity Bandwagon
Most of us earn our living via selling our labour work. So, if there is going to be shared prosperity, there must be some process via which technological improvements increase wages. What we argue in the book is that there are two big assumptions for that. One is that average productivity increases but marginal productivity or labour may not improve. And second, even if workers are more productive, employers may try to keep more of that for themselves.
