The Difference Between JVM and Virtual Machines

Wasm was kind of conceptually a virtual machine, at least from a software layer perspective. But you still need extra stuff if you wanted to run as a system component. Wasm made it, I think in its part of the learning from Java, a lot of the security issues were in the standard library code, not the raw JVM code.
