Capri-Pivirin for Viremia and Advanced HIV Diseases
UCSF has given Cabral Pivirin off label to people with Viremia. They would not include it if they had either Rolpivirin or integrase mutations. This is a group of patients who have marginal housing and a lot of substance use disorder and psychiatric illness. 74% received their on time injections, but there was a numerically higher rate of treatment failure with resistance in this population.
