The Range of Possibilities There

In English, an ad position is something that has to go with a noun phrase or a pronoun substitute. Some languages will not let you do that and use different words when you say I went in. It's very similar to phrasal verbs, which use sort of the same forms as the prepositions, but they're not prepositions anymore. And it's a little bit muddled in Finnish, but some of the North Caucasian languages like says have enormous array of location cases.
