The Difference Between CMS and Independent Primary Care Physicians in Medicare Advantage Contracts

There's a lot of things in the star rating system that that providers and specifically primary care providers don't control. The second layer would be things that that at least the plans believe that independent primary care physicians can influence. And then you have an even smaller subset of of measures that that the plans want to directly incentivize performance improvement on. So there are sort of these layers within value base care of again now working bottom up from that funnel.
