When the rich and powerful get involved in social change, they change change. A good deed that gives further leadership positions or intellectual sway to a class of people is problematic. The thing that drives us crazy are big companies who will give a million dollars to a homeless shelter but then spend another million dollar on landin an to prevent it. So interesting. I want to first say how extraordinarily useful your book and argument has been to our work,. because it has forced a conversation that needed to be had for a super long time.
