The concept to understand for this song that we're gonto be talking about is the concept of subdivision. Subdivision is a rhythmic concept in music, and what it means is there are longer notes and shorter notes. The pattern itself is actually like kind of a pyramid. It's a sequence of numbers that m that then replicates throughout the song. And i started countig it in eight notes, but then it scales up one level, quarter notes, and just everything is twice as long.
