Anyone receiving free school meals is already having significantly less attainment over time. There's also this illusion of choice, which is really important where you've got say a chicken shack, a McDonald's, a KFC and a Burger King. If people are in poor housing accommodation, they may not necessarily have even the kind of tools to be able to cook. They might actually only have a microwave buying perishable food. We're all fruits and vegetables. They're perishable. It's not economically sandwiched to invest in bananas that the kids might not ease. And then they might go off two days later.

In Episode #227, I sit down with Alan Flanagan, PhD and Drew Harrisberg to discuss the carnivore diet and veganism, assessing many of the popular claims made by health and nutrition “influencers”. We discuss Big Pharma, social media censorship, and vegan protein intake. We also zoom in on the ethics of veganism, spotting a legitimate academic, and why socioeconomic and environmental factors impact nutrition decisions.
