Dividends make up a huge portion of the total return of the s&p 500 Particularly when investors reinvested and What that can do to compounding your results as well. Others will say like I if you put in a growth stock It grows with the same amount or something like that, right? And they find dividends Um A waste maybe they are right but for me there's less risk involved at least perception of risk.
