Silence and Solitude
I think that we weigh overvalue talking in the modern world. I get asked on a regular basis to travel somewhere and talk. It's yet to happen. Silence, as healing as ilight and as life giving as it is, is really hard. What does it say about us that we always have to have music on or t v in the background when we're at home? And then there's also an internal noise, the mental clutter, the mind that just won't slow down. So silence and then solitude go together.
