The Importance of Pronouns in English

People always want to invent pronoun systems that encode some sort of politics, sexual politics or gender politics in particular. That is actually something that always comes with the pronouns. There are lots of languages on this earth that do not distinguish sex. To think that removing gendered pronouns will somehow fix things is definitely... Definitely. But to me that idea it's like the 40 words for snow in Eskimo I don't think it's killable. And there will be people who will cling to that idea until the end of time.
