Marketers should stop using influenced revenue as their primary marketing metric. If you're targeting a hundred account tam, be my guest and go with influenced revenue instead of sourced revenue. It incentivizes your marketing team to do things that they can measure on deals that are so late funnel that they probably would have closed anyway. The real driver is taking all the people that don't know about buying or are not interested in buying from you, and bringing them in then leting then sit and sell what's at stake.
