The Future of the US Dollar

Other countries just don't want to be entirely dependent on the United States for a few reasons that like, if you're coming at it from their perspective, sort of makes sense. The thing is, there isn't really another contender to the US dollar right now. And so I do think because all these countries have stated that they want to do this, that it will probably reduce the US's share over time. But until like another currency comes along that actually makes sense, I think it's not going to be a pressing issue."
