What Is the True Knowing?
Most people's sense of self identity is they know things about themselves. And the things they know about themselves are what they have been by others. So there is a direct knowing, and there is a knowing about now. But all conceptual knowledge is knowing about it's not knowing. This is dreadfully neglecting it in our ignorant civilization. They don't even know it exists. That's whether the ancient word nows comes from g n o s i s. Or you can go through a forest knowing a lot about the forest, which fine. Can say, oh, that's such and such a bird, thats such and such tree, and that. So it grows. Isn't it
