The Superstructure of Interpretation
A lot of the time we are just experiencing, except that we don't notice that. And on top of our raw experience, we built this entire superstructure of interpretation. You see somebody and sometimes you have to have a kind of gut dislike of them. We start off with just that simple feeling and then we start finding reasons to dislike them. But if I found that there's a person who's not looking happy and allowed that unpleasant feeling to be there, that sense of twisting in the gut, just allow it to be there,. but not go into the reactivity and just create a sense of space around about the pain that I was feeling, I'd find that what would happen is
