The Problem of Animal Suffering Isn't a Problem

Animal behaviorist temple grandon gives two reasons to think that pain doesn't hurt animals as much as it would human. Since the frontal lobes of animals are less developed, it's possible that animals have as much pain as people do. When it comes to emotional suffering in animals, for example, scary things don't really seem to trigger animals. But none of this at all even comes close to meaning that the problem of animal suffering is not really a problem. Even if animals don't experience as much suffering as humans individually, animals collectively experience far, far, far more suffering than humans in total.
