Why You Shouldn't Avoid Problems in Relationships
When you habitually avoid, you are also potentially weakening your relationships capacity to handle problems. Problems are going to happen no matter what - even if you never address or work through them internal to your relationship. Avoiding problems can also cause relationships to be rigid and confining and fragile. When what they need to be in this challenging world that we live in is nimble, expansive, and resilient. This is why I encourage people in established relationships who want to maintain that partnership while exploring non-monogamy have a solid practice for handling issues before they get too deep into it.
