When he was a baby, my mother gave me my first bath in the sink at our house. Someone, not her, took a picture of me during my first bath. And they brought it down to the photo matter wherever it was that people were getting photographs developed all the way back then. The company printed the photograph, but cut my out of the photograph. So there's just a hole where the business end of Herrigan once was. I'm sure that that's emblematic of some larger thing in my life. I just prefer not to think about it anymore than I just did.
