Zuckerberg Faces Congress, and the Plight of the Post Office

After Hours

CHAPTER

The Post Office Is a Critical Lifeline

I think right now the Postal Service is not only dysfunctional, but it perpetuates such an economy of waste. We ask a whole bunch of mail carriers to deliver it to households all across the country just so that we can receive it and throw it away. I don't think you could privatize it altogether because then you would be left without any solutions or very expensive solutions in certain parts of the country that need it most. But let me ask both of you, what is, if you ran the post office, what's the single change you would make? Is it five day delivery? Is it closure? What are the biggest changes you would make?"
