Classification of C Joint Injuries
i'm sure you remember the two most common er mechanisms for a c joint instability. The first is if somebody falls on to the point of their shoulder with the arm in cross abduction. And then equally, we can have that indirect injury, where they fall on an outstretched hand and the humorous bas takes the echromium with it. Now this guy, when i see him, has got ok range up to about 95 degrees of elevation, limited by pain. Cross aduction is really painful in that he really doesn't want to go there. He certainly can't get across mid line. He's not taking any medications at the moment.
