Is the Fed Going to Start Raising Interest Rates?
I don't think there is any historic example of inflation this high being extinguished with interest rates this low. Why isn't anybody saying, maybe a quarter point rate hike won't cut it? What if the year over year inflation rate hasn't gone back down near two %? I already mentioned earlier in the podcast how its weighing down consumer sentiment. Ultimately, inflation is going to cause recession. And what is the government going to do to stimulate the economy in recession? Create more inflation.
