René Girard and the Open and Relational Theology

René Girard was a French anthropologist who made many contributions to understanding the role of desire among humans. His work has prompted numerous Christian theologians to think about how we imitate others and especially how we scapegoat those with whom we disagree. On August 19th of 2023, Andrei Rabe and Jonathan Foster will be joined by Julia Robinson Moore, Brian Zond, and Jennifer Garcia Basha to explore what they're calling Girardian Intersections.
