Timothy Stanley: Tim was evangelical without ceasing to be Presbyterian. He's reformed yet evangelical in some ways, and I think that's part of his churchmanship. His confessional posture used the E as a modifier, which he says kept him from going full. But then there's also just evangelical pragmatism with little content that hasn't fully gone,. It's a whole mess of things.
