The Impact of Higher Interest Rates on Private Equity Markets
The rise in interest race this year has been tough for public equities, but what a impact of highe rates had on private markets. My view is that what we've begun to see here in the second quarter is really just the beginning of a re rating in valuations across private equity markets in particular. When there actually is a cost of capital, that means there are differences between good businesses and bad businesses. And i think th t you'll continue to see that play out, likely through the end of the year.
