Jeremy Ben-Ami: The idea that you have a tyranny of the majority because we have a representative democracy is just a false claim. He says judges who select themselves are not representative at all of Israeli society in its fullness and its diversity. Ben- Ami: We're talking about placing minimum limits on judicial power to abrogate laws. It might be women's rights certainly within this coalition government, he adds.
