Poetry Can Do More Than Rhyme

McGonagall is often mentioned along with another Scotsman, James McIntyre who's been called the Chaucer of Cheese. Every sickle poem of his that I read was about cheese. He eventually moved from Scotland to Canada, where his love for cheese did not die and he had a whole fresh new country of cheese to explore. Only a poet who was given himself over fully to his obsessions would see the history of Canada through such a lens.
