Is There a Difference Between English and Persian?
I keep coming back to that question your character asks, where she says, how long can you live in isolation from yourself? She's referring to the gap between the language she knows, farce, and the language she's learning, which is English. And when you're performing that section, I could hear it even now, but I wondered how much you saw yourself in those lines. How much of your family you see in that dialogue? Yeah, I'm definitely reminded of my parents because it's a conversation we were having in a talkback,. My parents came from Iran and didn't have a full grasp of the language.
