The Grand Old Man of Fundamentalism
Many radical evangelicals were rebranded as fundamentalists. The movement was led by a guy named William B. Riley, aka the grand old man of fundamentalism. He founded an evangelical college called Northwestern Bible and Missionary Training School in Minnesota. And he also built a network of fundamentalist pastors across the country.
