The Importance of Studying East Asian Studies
"I am actually from Geneva Switzerland this is where I was born and raised," she says. "I grew up in sort of a very liberal arts kind of environment." She studied anthropology with a focus on China, then moved to the Bay Area because her husband is Chinese. After six years working as a college counselor for two years he started an after-school drama program at his alma mater University of San Francisco.
