The Gift of the Spirit
In Ephesians chapter six, Paul asks the Ephesians to pray for him that he would preach with boldness as I ought to. As is a recognition he has there not only that what ought to be preached, but there is a how it should be preached. And part of that is the gift of the spirit. It engages the hearts of the people. It's open. It's vulnerable. Humanizes. But it's also saying, listen, I want to do good to you.
