The Ajanta Chapel in Padua

Ajanta is an important place in the Renaissance. The impression it produced on me was rather like the first time I went to the Arrana Chapel in Padua. You can look at a fresco and you can see into a whole world. But Baudhaya remains of that kind, other places. Even our Bajah retreat center has near it, caves that were created not long after Ashoka. And where you can get a glimpse of a way of life, not just for monks, but for lay people too. That's what you glimpse.
