The Importance of Microbiology in the Emergency Department
I think it's equally important for the micro people to get out of the lab and we traditionally were not great at this, let's be honest. Ed stewardship is a near and dear little niche specialty in my heart too. You have to understand their workflows to really optimize where you can answer your tests there. I also will say, I think it is cool to inspire. Romney, I don't know if I've ever told you this, but I saw you give a talk at Ekmid in 2018. And I was so inspired and I was like, micro was so cool.
