China's Nuclear Pipeline

China has the most advanced and efficient reactors in the world with no need for water cooling. China's nuclear pipeline or the total capacity of all its new reactors under development is also as big as the rest of the world's combined at about 250 gigawatts. In 2021, 19 new reactors, winter construction, 43 waiting permits, another 166 were planned. In April, 2022 plans for another six new reactors were announced.
