Climate change is not likely to be affecting pica's. If they are negatively affected by climate change, it's probably more likely that it's through changes in temperature or precipitation patterns. You don't have to be a pica scientist to help out with a pica science. There's an app that you can download and there's actually a project on iNaturalist called the American Pica Atlas. So not only can you get total Instagram-worthy photos of furry adorableness, you can contribute to science.
