Lifting is hard mentally and physically regardless of the extent of an injury. I really try to help them find a mindset that's basically going to get them into a calmer state so that they have reassurance that no, this is at the end. And then after that, again, depending on the injury, it's like, well, say we can't do deadlifts just to lean into that example. What are other movements that we can do and how can we maintain the adaptations and the strengths? So what can we do to maintain everything while we let your injury kind of like resolve itself?
