The Importance of Focusing on One Thing

The company was running out of money. Stock was falling like a rock. A month after I joined as CEO, we announced that we missed guidance. The guidance that the company had previously given by 40% for the full year, it wasn't the deep end. And there were rocks at the bottom of the pool. That situation is what probably informed the way that I think about leadership more than any other experience.
