The Decline of Reading Books
A recent Gallup poll finds that American adults are reading fewer books each year. The decline is greater among subgroups that tended to be more avid readers, particularly college graduates but also women and older Americans. Scott Young: It's alarming that book reading is waning. Curating our media consumption may be necessary if we want to be the exception.
