The Power of Green Washing

Green washing is when a company or business tries to convince you that it is more environmentally friendly than it really is. A few years ago, McDonald's changed their plastic straws for paper ones. The thickness of these paper straws made them too difficult to recycle at the time. It's kind of ironic that they bring you the weather because they're largely to blame for climate change itself.
