Is This a Good Objection to Christianity?

How do we go about investigating if we want to learn for ourselves whether or not this is a good objection to Christianity? So the first thing that I tell people to do is to just read the stories for themselves. To see if you can actually find Jesus' story in them. And also look for the massive differences that you're going to find especially with one of the things to look for is the author's intent.
