Is There a 60 Minute Lesson for Year One?

I know we know that a 60 minute lesson isn't what necessarily is best for the children. And yet we still have this desire to kind of pigeonhole and package everything in the little time parcels. But it's a habit that we need to break. Is there anything else we do from subject leader point of view? Making it quite structured, like your schedule for teaching certain timetables at certain times in the year. Or having a timetable curriculum rather than saying teachers, oops, you know, these are the ones you have to cover because they don't necessarily know when, how long to spend on them.
