Having a younger driver, learner driver or P-Plator will mean paying more for your insurance. Most people don't think about it very much, but you really could shave off a lot of dollars from negotiating with the insurer. I always haggle every year with all of my insurances except private health insurance and personal insurance. The only time this hasn't worked for me was actually in 2022 when I couldn't get them to match the existing policy at cost price.
