In ancient greece, the first inkling of the true world emerges. It is not quite metaphysical yet at this ge it is more of a moral claim. In platonic philosophy, in some sense, every virtue is intimately tied to every other virtue. And so we might say that it is impossible for a man to embody say, true grace, or true compassion, without also embodying the truth.
