How Do Your Students Respond When They Talk About Writing?
Shawn O'Connor teaches a writing class at the University of North Carolina, Asheville. He says his students are better writers when they learn about craft and business side of writing. The classes also teach them how to deal with their own feelings in terms of plot or character. "We're not just going to talk about this on a craft level, on a business level," he says.
