i think it's just important to nurture the power of choice in your own family. And that can start with toddlers. In giving them choices as much as possible. I think they're happier anyway. They feel more a connected to you when you're like, o hey, do shall we leave in five minutes? Or shall we leave right now? Anno, give us a final thought that helps to wrap together this theme by focusing on choosing to do things because instead of just i have to do them. Yo, i love that quote from gondy, and it makes me wonder how unintentionally we do that as parents to our children.
When was the last time you felt like you didn't have a choice?
Life is full of difficult situations where it feels like the only answer is simply, "I have to".
But this answer removes our power of choice.
Join my wife Anna and me as we explore why it is so important to nurture the power of choice in yourself and those you love.
Learn how to:
- Take control of your choices by changing "I have to" to "I choose to because..."
- Avoid giving too much influence to outside voices.
- Nurture the power of choice in your own family.
